IARP-New England Mission
IARP New England Chapter brings together rehabilitation professionals located throughout the six New England states. We are dedicated to promoting effective multidisciplinary rehabilitation, disability management, and return-to-work services on behalf of persons with disabilities and the economically disadvantaged; enhancing the competency of service providers in the northeast; and supporting innovation in related business development and management.
Goals:
Maintain an organizational structure that addresses member issues and expectations while promoting a high level of volunteer competency.
Promote high standards of training and practice through the development of innovative continuing education and career enhancement opportunities.
Foster high standards of ethical conduct throughout the profession and encourage high standards for professional performance.
Monitor and influence federal/state/regional government and industry policies that affect the rehabilitation profession.
Encourage member networking with the goal of understanding issues and trends affecting the profession and competency of all members.
Maintain cooperative relationships and activities with other organizations in pursuit of the Association’s mission.
